We have enjoyed a great start to the new school year. As president of COLVOP this year I want to encourage new and returning administrators to join COLVOP and attend our sponsored events.
Membership in our organization is a mere $10.00. Our group realizes the value in having an administrators' group that provides networking, social connections, and programs for any sitting or aspiring administrator.
This year's calendar will continue to provide some of your favorite activities as well as offer administrators an opportunity to connect with colleagues in surrounding districts. The elementary and secondary consortiums will continue this year. These meetings provide a valuable opportunity to talk with principals and administrators from other districts to hear about issues, new ideas or just provide support for one another.
Please consider joining and attending as many activities as you can. Typical comments for busy people are, "I have too much to do, but I'm glad I went; it was great to have a chance to network with my colleagues."
